Solid Dortmund stun PSG to qualify for 1st UEFA Champions league final since 2013

Borussia Dortmund reached their first UEFA Champions League (UCL) final since Jürgen Klopp’s 2013 team by beating Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 (2-0 on aggregate) in a memorable contest at the Parc des Princes.

Matt Hummels’ early 2nd stanza header was enough for the visitors to extend their 1st leg lead.

Despite numerous efforts from all-attack-minded Peruvians, Dortmund remained tight to qualify for the first final since losing in 2013 to their German counterparts Bayern Munich.

Dortmund will know their June 1st Wembley final opponents on Wednesday night as 14-time champions Real Madrid, who will host Bayern Munich for the 2nd leg semi-final after a 2-2 draw in the 1st leg in Germany.
