Sprinter Omanyala inks partnership deal with Visa

Africa 100m record holder and commonwealth champion Ferdinand Omanyala has been appointed a global ambassador for Visa, a world wide payment partner for the 2024 Paris Olympics  and Paralympic Games.

Omanyala the continents fastest man is among 117 athletes picked to be brand ambassadors for Visa the technology payment partner for the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Omanyala who finished fourth at the Hungary World Athletics Championships  in the men’s 100m final said the partnership is timely as he prepares for the 2024 Olympic Games.

Visa’s support is invaluable during my journey to the Olympics, and I’m thrilled to have their backing as I prepare to compete on the biggest stage in athletics. Visa said they settled on Omanyala due to his commitment to programmes that seek to inspire a new generation of sprinters.

Omanyala will be seeking to become the first 100m runner to clinch an Olympic medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games scheduled July 30th -August 11 2024.
