The #SemaNaSpox BongaNaGAVA podcast has been awarded as the most informative show Friday evening at the Bobea Leadership Awards at KCB Leadership Centre in Karen.
Despite having only launched recently and with just seven episodes aired, the podcast has quickly established itself as a trusted and dynamic platform for citizen engagement with government leadership.
According the government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura, the show seeks to give Kenyans an opportunity to interact with the government through its senior executives such as Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, CEOs of parastatals in a realtime manner, in order to publicize the things that government has achieved.
“Our partnership with KBC Channel 1 TV especially through the three platforms of @Y254 KBC TV and KBC Digital, gives us a unique avenue of engaging the young generation through new and mainstream media at the same time.” Mwaura said.
“This is our way of reshaping how government information is relayed in this ever changing communication space. I dedicate this award to President William Samoei Ruto, the government and my ever committed team from the Office of The Government Spokesperson.” He added.
