The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has shortlisted 50 candidates for the position of Judge of the Environment and Land Court following a review of applications as set out.
This comes after JSC advertised ten posts in the Office of Judge of the Environment and Land Court of Kenya and invited applications from qualified persons wishing to be considered for appointment to the position.
In a statement, the Commission notified Kenyans that the shortlisted candidates qualified from a pool of 243 individuals after fulfilling the requirements as set out in the advertisement.
“At the close of the advertisement on 7th July, 2025, a total of two hundred and forty three (243) applications were received. The JSC having reviewed the applications for completeness and conformity with the requirements as set out in the advertisement, shortlisted fifty (50) candidates for the post of Judge of the Environment and Land Court,” said JSC.
The Commission said that it will announce the dates of the interviews in due course.
It further asked members of the public to avail in writing any information of interest in respect to any of the shortlisted candidates.
