Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has called on Kenyans to embrace reflection, unity, and renewal during the Easter period, describing the death of Jesus Christ as the ultimate expression of love.

In a Good Friday message, Kindiki said the sacrificial death of Jesus represents the most powerful demonstration of love ever, highlighting the significance of the season in the Christian calendar.

The DP noted that Easter offers an opportunity for hope and redemption, adding that it marks a defining moment in the spiritual journey of believers.

The Deputy President described the Easter weekend as a solemn period for reflection and renewal, urging Kenyans to pause and consider the deeper meaning of the occasion.

Kindiki also extended his wishes to families across the country, expressing hope for peace and unity.

His message comes as Christians mark Good Friday as the day Jesus Christ was crucified, ahead of Easter Sunday which celebrates his resurrection, a symbol of victory, renewal and new beginnings in the Christian faith.
