Kabras Sugar reached their fifth consecutive Enterprise Cup final where they will meet Mengai Oilers.
Kabras defeated KCB RFC 25-21 at ASK Showground in Kakamega County to book the final ticket while Mmengai Oilers saw off Nondies 41-10 in Nakuru.
The final is scheduled April 19th at RFUEA Grounds,Nairobi.
Against KCB Kabras coached by Carlos Katywa winger Griffin Chao scored the opening try after KCB had taken a 3-0 lead following Austin Sikutwa’s penalty.
Ntabeni Dukisa added the extras for Kabra’s 7-3 lead.However KCB restored their lead after Andy Cole Omolo’s try while Levy Amunga drop goal gave KCB 11-7 lead.
Griffin Chao once again scored his second try of the game to see Kabras lead 12-11 before Cantona’s drop goal that left the scores 15-11 in favor of the Kakamega-based outfit.
Just before the interval, Walter Okoth grabbed added another try to extend Kabras’s lead to 22-11 after a successful conversion by the experienced flyhalf Ntabeni Dukisa.
Kabrs led 22-11 at the break.
In the second half KCB scored 10 points to reduce the gap to just 5 points.Austin Sikutwa and Dukisa scored a penalty kick each while Andy Cole had unconverted try which proved not enough for their side.
