A man was assaulted on April 2nd, 2026, by a group of unknown assailants in Garbatulla after the victim’s brother allegedly converted from Islam to Christianity.
According to police documents, Mohammed Abudullahi Dullacha was, on the fateful day, attacked at around 10 am while on his way to the nearby shop.
“Mohamed Abdulahi Dullacha, a resident of Kina South Location, Goticha C Manyatta, does report that today at around 10:00 hours, while he went to a nearby shop within Kinna township to buy breakfast, he met some group of about six young men who, with no apparent reason, started insulting him,” read the police statement.
Recorded under OB No. 64/02/04/2026 at the Kinna Police Station, Garbatulla, the victim says the assailants left him injured and he had to seek medication.
The police OB indicated that “the victim was attacked with clubs, slaps and kicks, thus leaving him with multiple injuries on his face, head, legs and other parts of the body.”
It’s alleged that the attack was motivated by the victim’s brother Ramadhan Dullacha, who converted to Christianity, which angered his attackers.
