Tourism Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano has assured the residents of Ndaragwa of the National Government’s commitment to completing ongoing development projects across Nyandarua County.

Speaking at Gwa Kihara village in Ndaragwa Constituency during the send-off ceremony for the late Mama Jane Wangari, CS Miano reaffirmed the government’s dedication to delivering essential infrastructure and social development programmes aimed at uplifting the region.

These initiatives include improvements to road networks, the construction of modern ultra-markets, access to clean water, electrification, and the expansion of educational and healthcare facilities.

She also encouraged residents to continue registering with the Social Health Authority (SHA), emphasising the importance of universal health coverage. CS Miano noted that registration would ensure access to affordable, quality healthcare services, financial protection during medical emergencies, and improved health outcomes for families across the region.

In her tribute to the late Mama Jane, CS Miano described her as a devoted Christian, a cherished mother, and a beloved individual who played a significant role in shaping young lives, including her own, through teaching and mentorship.
