FKF Women’s Cup Trophy unveiled ahead of the June 29th final

Ahead of the eagerly awaited finals, which will take place at Africa Stadium in Nakuru on June 29, 2025, betPawa has presented the FKF Women’s Cup Trophy to the Football Kenya Federation (FKF).

The handover ceremony which was held  on Saturday at betPawa’s Nairobi offices, underscored the company’s commitment to supporting and uplifting women’s football in Kenya through impactful partnerships and performance-based incentives.

This season’s finals promise to be a historic event, not only because of the fierce competition on the pitch but also due to the strategic investment behind it.

Players and technical staff will receive KSh 4.3 million in direct rewards through betPawa’s Locker Room Bonus (LRB) initiative, which has already improved the tournament’s level of professionalism and motivation.

“Our aim is to create meaningful opportunities in football by recognising talent and rewarding performance. The Locker Room Bonus is not just about money; it’s about dignity, motivation, and showing players that their effort matters. Speaking during the event, Harold Ndege, CEO of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF),expressed the Federation’s appreciation for betPawa’s partnership, adding that the trophy Handover symbolises a new era for women’s football in Kenya.

“We welcome this trophy with pride and purpose. This partnership with betPawa is not only elevating the game technically but also inspiring a whole new generation of players. Together, we are setting the standard for what women’s football should look like in this country,” he said.

This year’s final  set for June 29th , will pit Kibera Soccer Women FC against  Vihiga Queens at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru county.
