The Kenyan team for this year’s World Relays arrived safely in Guangzhou, China, ahead of the championships scheduled for this weekend, May 10th and 11th.
Kenya, captained by Boniface Mweresa, will compete in four disciplines: 4x400m for men and women, mixed relay, and 4x100m men.
Kenya has been in a residential training camp at the Ulinzi Sports Complex for three weeks, will be aiming to qualify for the World Championships.
The top 14 teams in each of the men’s and women’s 4x100m and 4x400m, and the mixed 4x400m relay, will secure their place at the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25 in September.
