NPS appeals for information on fatal Ngong Road accident

The National Police Service (NPS) has appealed for information from members of the public that may assist in investigations of fatal accident along Ngong Road.  

According to a statement from NPS, the accident which occurred at Adams Arcade on Thursday, involved a government vehicle, resulted in the death of a pedestrian who is a foreign national.

NPS says it has commenced investigations into the incident and urged anyone with information that may assist with the investigation to report to the nearest police station.

“We encourage anyone with information that may assist with the investigation to report to the nearest police station or through our toll-free numbers: 999, 911, 112, and #FichuakwaDCI 0800 722 203,” the statement read.

At the same time, NPS has urged all road users, including motorists, pedestrians, and others, to exercise extreme caution and adhere to traffic rules to prevent future accidents.

“The National Police Service urges motorists, pedestrians, and all other road users to exercise extreme caution and adhere to traffic rules to prevent accidents.”
